Right to Cancel

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. You cannot cancel your contract if the goods you have ordered are viewing cards and their subscription has been started.

The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us, Turbosat International LTD at Legacy House, Church Road Business Centre, Church Road, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 3RS or sales@turbosat.com of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the below model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Effects of Cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than—

  1. 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
  2. (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us at our office Turbosat International LTD at Legacy House, Church Road Business Centre, Church Road, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 3RS, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Your rights to return goods are protected under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 which can be found at http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2013/3134/made

All items stocked and sold by Turbosat come with a 12 month manufacturer warranty unless stated otherwise. 

Due to the nature of the product, Subscription viewing cards are not covered by a warranty unless they are official subscription cards and these are under warranty for as long as the broadcaster is broadcasting the programmes the card was intended to receive. The card is NOT covered if broadcasting stops due to the broadcaster going out of business or a change in schedules, or if the broadcast infringes UK broadcast law. If this is the case we are not liable for this action and you have bought said subscription cards with this knowledge.

Warranty on any Equipment supplied shall be on a “Return to base” basis. That is; you must return the Equipment to us for test and repair or replacement as required.

Equipment must be in its original box and then securely and safely packaged in an outer carton suitable for the purpose.

Costs of return to us and suitable packaging are your responsibility. We will cover the cost of packaging and despatch to you, usually via courier.

During any warranty period, we shall have responsibility for repair or replacement of our Equipment except that you accept full responsibility for cost of repair or replacement of our Equipment when the damage or problem has been caused by your negligence, misuse, abuse or violation of any part of this Agreement that is out of our control.

Any product repaired or replaced under warranty will have the balance of the original warranty applied to it.

We do not offer support on equipment or accessories not supplied by us.

We do not offer onsite service or installation. We are happy to provide support to you or your installer by phone or email wherever you are.

We try really hard to make sure that all our customers receive the items that they want, promptly and in the best of condition. Unfortunately this isn’t always in our control, and mistakes and breakages do happen. As proof of postage cannot be regarded as proof of delivery, therefore we would suggest that you use recorded delivery, registered post or a courier to send items back. On expensive items it might also be a good idea to insure the goods for their full value, as we cannot accept liability for any damage or lost items incurred in transit. Whilst at all times, we try to assure you of the best possible service, however in accepting this, your statutory rights are not affected or limited in any way.

1. Once you place an order you can cancel the order by calling us on 01795 429 666 within 1 hours of placing it (this should guarantee that your order has not already been picked and sent).
2. UK law is the applicable law.
3. When buying goods on the internet, you are entering a legally binding contract
4. We do not pass-on or sell customers contact details.
5. On-line credit-card saftey is our main goal, we use Sage Pay.
6. We never send out unsolicited emails
7. After making a purchase you will see an order confirmation page and receive a receipt via email.
